Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing and using the OwlMind Android application ("the App") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. The App is free

OwlMind is provided free of charge by Selektial Software Solutions Pvt Ltd ("we", "us"). There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, and no advertising.

3. Bring your own LLM provider

OwlMind requires you to configure your own API key with an LLM provider of your choice (DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini). Any charges you incur from that provider are your sole responsibility. We are not a party to your relationship with the provider.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Process content that violates the laws of your jurisdiction or the policies of your chosen LLM provider.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the App.
• Use the App in any way that interferes with the LLM provider's services.

5. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be free of errors or interruptions.
• The AI's classification or answers will be accurate.
• Notifications will fire at exact times (Android may delay them under battery-saver / Doze conditions).
• Your data will be preserved if your device is damaged or lost. You are responsible for exporting and backing up your data.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss, missed reminders, or any costs incurred from your LLM provider.

7. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the App at any time without notice. Because all your data is local, discontinuation does not delete your data — you keep it.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after a material change constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
